Study Abroad Ambassador Program

 

Education Abroad Ambassadors at Texas State University are fellow Bobcats who wish to share their international experiences and encourage others to study abroad. They play an important role in helping to internationalize our campus and the local community. 

Becoming an Education Abroad Ambassador will not only be an exceptional resume booster, but participants will also have the opportunity to develop several skills such as public speaking and other communication and leadership skills. Upon successful completion of the entire program, Education Abroad Ambassadors will receive a certificate of completion.

Qualifications required to be a Texas State Education Abroad Ambassador: 

  • Have participated in or committed to an Education Abroad Program
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at Texas State University 
  • Recommendation from Education Abroad Program Leader/Representative or a Texas State faculty member/administrator. 

Fall Priority deadline: September 1st 

Spring Priority deadline: January 16th
