UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND 


OVERVIEW

The Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Auckland offers you the chance to spend the summer in one of the most multicultural and beautiful cities in the world while receiving academic credit. This six-week program will provide you the opportunity to participate in a hands-on research project in a variety of fields including but not limited to history, communication, media, and international relations. In addition to the academic programming, you will get to explore some of the cultural and geographic highlights of New Zealand, such as geothermal hot springs and Hobbiton. 

Research projects are conducted through the University of Auckland and facilitated in English by host university professors. ISA students enroll in research projects alongside other ISA students.

LATIN AMERICAN STUDIES, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS, ENGINEERING & COURSES WITH LOCALS AT THE UNIVERSIDAD DEL NORTE 

OVERVIEW 

Spanish language courses are taught in Spanish, while business, culture and engineering courses are available in English and Spanish. You may complete the Research Project course in English or Spanish with the supervision of a faculty member at the host university. If you have at least a high intermediate Spanish level, you may volunteer in the local community and receive credit through the Volunteering and Social Transformation Service-Learning course. All courses are taught by host university faculty at the Universidad del Norte.

KOREAN LANGUAGE, COURSES IN ENGLISH & STEM RESEARCH AT HANYAN UNIVERSITY

OVERVIEW

At Hanyang University you will have the opportunity to take two or three courses. Choose from a wide range of subjects including art and design, business and economics, communication and media, international relations, engineering, science, math, and more. 

Research Projects are offered as an academic course! 

  • 3 Hanyang University credits (3 recommended US credits) 
  • 80 hours of minimum contact hours 
  • Monday to Thursday

BUSINESS, HUMANITIES, AGRICULTURE & STEM AT UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN 

OVERVIEW

The Business, Humanities, Agriculture & STEM program is offered through University College Dublin (UCD). Popular subject areas include Business, History, Engineering, and Agriculture. Unique offerings include UCD's Service Learning course and Scientific Research course. Courses are taught in English by UCD faculty with local and international students. You must choose one main school in which to take four courses but may take one or two electives from other schools. The main schools to choose from are the following: Agriculture, Food & Nutrition*; Architecture & Planning*; Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; Business; Engineering*; Law; Nursing & Midwifery*; Science*; Sport and Exercise; the US and International Affairs.
