General Information Sessions

Attending a General Information Session (GIS) is the first step to participate in an Education Abroad program.

Students have two options for signing up for General Information Session:

Option 1. Attend an Online Live Session (duration one hour).
During this session, Education Abroad staff members will introduce different types of education abroad programs, some financial solutions students might be able to use as well next steps for applying for education abroad programs. Students will be able to ask their questions at the end of the presentation.

Time: Mondays & Fridays - from 2 pm to 3 pm

Option 2. Online Pre-recorded Education Abroad Video (duration 15 min).
Once students have signed up for a session, they will receive a link in their email to the Pre-recorded Education Abroad Video, which they can watch at any time. In this video, we will go over all of the different types of study abroad programs, some financial solutions that students might be able to use, and what students' next step(s) will be in the process.

Time: Wednesdays (Please note that there is no actual session happening at the specified time)

Once students participated in the GIS session or watched the pre-recorded video and would like to get more details regarding the program of their interest, they can schedule a virtual advising appointment via Education Abroad Advising Appointments
